LIGHTED SHADOW BOX

WINTER VILLAGE SHADOW BOXES IN THE NOOK EVENT

One of the ladies that comes to the Nook brought the shadow box she created to one of our Nook events and several of the ladies expressed interest in creating one so on November 2, 2023 that is what we did.

First we had to cut out the houses, churches, trees and any other items we wanted to design with such as lampposts, deer, moose and snowmen.  We used heavy white card-stock. We purchased shadow boxes, fairy lights and foam tape.

Here is Sandy with the two shadow boxes she created - one previously and one at the event.

Here is Nina's shadow box:

Here is Sharon's shadow box:

Vicky will finish her shadow box at home and will provide a picture later.

Pictured above is my shadow box and below I am holding it. We hope you are inspired to create one.

This is one of many tutorials on YouTube for creating the lighted shadow box.

With the extra pieces I cut out, I created these cards!

A week after the Nook event, I decided to create another lighted shadow box - a Nativity scene, I used Gina K Design dies as well as from another company or two.

I also created another lighted shadow box for my County Chorus' Silent Auction. I included this shadow box in a basket with these handmade cards, a wax seal stamp with wax, a mini mail box with candy, a sugar cookie scented candle and a mug with cocoa and peppermint tea.

I created another lighted shadow box for a friend.

The accompanied card followed the theme!

This craft was inspired by this tutorial on You Tube:
