FAVORITE CHRISTMAS CARDS

Christmas cards are some of my favorite cards to create. There are so many options of tools to use and an endless number of designs. These are some of my favorites over the years,

Some cards have stories behind them, such as the pie cards.

When we lived in Fresno, CA  one year we invited friends, Jim and Doris and their 3 children for Christmas dinner. Doris called me that morning and said she was in labor. I encouraged them to still come and if it looked like their baby would arrive that day then the family would still be fed and the 3 children could be with us as she and Jim went to the hospital. As dinner progressed, so did Doris' contractions. Jim wanted to have his dessert before leaving for the hospital - which he did. Twenty minutes after arriving at the hospital, Kristie as born. So each year this special family is sent a pie card!

This card was created using various decorative punches.

Window cards are some of my favorite designs to create.

Each year I assist my husband's office as the "Elf" in coordinating gifts for the Administrative Staff.

These cards accompanied Movie gift cards.

These cards accompanied gift crds to a nail spa.

The Christmas season wouldn't be complete without baking some cookies.

The cards above are great for giving coffee gift cards.

Flip cards are always fun to create.

I love creating cards that express the true meaning of Christmas.

Cozy cards are also fun to create.

Not exactly "ugly Christmas sweaters"!

The cards below were created for those in my Aqua Aerobics Class!

The layered triple time stamping technique was used in this card:

Kids especially enjoy receiving shaker cards.

The ladies that come to the Nook created these cards and we sent them to a little girl in
Schenectady, NY who lost her family in a fire.

Home for the Holidays

The above cards are creative ways to give gift cards.

Stay tuned! Next Christmas more cards will be added!
